Thomas Eatts (Eatt or Eats) was born at Aldinga on 30 November 1847. He was the sixth son of Isaac Eatts (1807-1852) and Lucy Cave (1811-1869).

Thomas Eatts married Elizabeth Hunt (1851-1939) at the residence of Mathew Hunt at Myponga on 12 December 1872. They had eleven children:

  • Albert Henry (1874-1918) was born at Myponga and married Thurza Sampson (1878-1946) on 13 April 1896 at Adelaide. They had four children. Albert was a farm labourer and, later, a farmer at Aldinga. He died at Aldinga and is buried in Aldinga Uniting Church Cemetery.
  • Emma Rose (1876-1962) was born at Myponga and was unmarried. She died at Aldinga and is buried in Aldinga Uniting Church Cemetery.
  • Alfred William (1878-1950) was born at Myponga and married Sarah Anne Symonds. They had seven children. Alfred was a farmer at Sellick’s Hill. He died at Aldinga and is buried in Aldinga Uniting Church Cemetery.
  • Lily Elizabeth (1880-1961) was born at Yankalilla. She died at Mount Barker, SA.
  • Edwin Hector (1882-1967) was born at Myponga and married Gretchen Helene Stoltz (1889-1981) on 10 November 1917 at Goodwood, SA. He died at Aldinga and is buried in Aldinga Uniting Church Cemetery.
  • Olive Lucy Cave (1884-1952) was born at Myponga. She died at Aldinga and is buried in Aldinga Uniting Church Cemetery.
  • Thomas Darwin (1886-1924) was born at Myponga and married Ada May Culley. He died at Aldinga and is buried in Aldinga Uniting Church Cemetery.
  • Oliver Melrow (1888-1970) was born at Myponga. He died at Glenelg, SA.
  • Charles Octavius (1891- 1941) was born at Myponga. He died at Kimba, SA and is buried in Aldinga Uniting Church Cemetery.
  • George Lloyd (1893-1969) was born at Myponga. He died at Aldinga and is buried in Aldinga Uniting Church Cemetery.

Thomas Eatts was a farmer near the Myponga Jetty. He died at Myponga on 13 July 1927 and was buried in the Aldinga Uniting Church Cemetery.
