Isabella Gilchrist married George McMillan (1780- ) on 2 June 1814 at Campbeltown, Argyll, Scotland.

Isabella McMillan (nee Gilchrist) (1780-1860), widow of George McMillan, aged 59 years, with her three children Duncan (22), Annabella (20) and Isabella (15) arrived on 12 Aug 1839 with just over 100 fellow passengers on board the 501-ton barque Ariadne from Greenock, Scotland (Captain George MacLeod). Duncan Stewart, aged 20 years, was also aboard Ariadne.

Isabella McMillan had 3 children (1 boy and 2 girls):

Duncan Gilchrist (1817-1879) died on 7 Nov1879, at Campbelltown, Scotland, aged 62 years.

Annabella McIver (1819-1896) m. Duncan Stewart, aged 22, at Adelaide on 25 May 1843

Isabella (1824-1908) m. John William Butterworth (1824-1900) at Christ Church, Yankalilla on 31 Oct 1850

Isabella Gilchrist McMillan, aged 84 years, died at the residence of her son in law, Duncan Stewart, in Aldinga in 1864.
